I know what it is but I am so blessed and lucky to do the DCP. I am meeting so many people already. A suggestion for Anyone interested in DCP, have a facebook! We are all so connected. I have met some people that are almost like family and we haven't even met in life! HAHAHA
OK so I said I was gunna show you guys some pics of the FEW things I have for my room. The pics i have are only of the bedding, which is AMAZING!
This is my Liz Claborne bedding! It's so perty! I lover it. Like I said before, I am not too much into pink, but this was so pretty and the price was AMAZING!
This is my Tommy Hilfiger Jersey Cotton Sheets! I will make the biggest suggestion: buy Jersey Sheets! THEY ARE SO COMFY! I still have so much to do! I have wall decore, but I will take pics of those for u guys soon!

So I finally found a really great roomie. Her name is Lori, you'll prolly see pics of us when I pick her up from the airport. We are heading down together to spend the night before and then go out to the meet and greet with our flambouant friend Matt. I have met so many great people through facebook for the DCP. One in particular strikes my fancy... and I strike his... but that's another topic for another day... especially when i see him in August ~crosses fingers~ hahaha!But other than that I have been going to work and looking around for stuff. I finally got my bedding... which, i don't have pics of cuz I am writing this on my mom's computer, which doesn't have the pics of them on it! hehe. But mom and I went shopping before i had to go to work and we stopped at this discount store(I love me some discounts!) named Ross. It has all designer things for a low price. So we found this really great Liz Claborne bed set and Tommy Hilfigure sheets! they are pink... i was hoping for blue, but I can deal with pink. It's like a pink and purple kinda feel... which is what I like. So me and Lori might go shopping after I get her so we can figure out what to do for our bathroom. I found this great wall art for me to hang. Also I have my snow white as well... hehe But there is so much more I need to do. ugh! So many lists to write! grrrr. lolAlright when I get the pics up of the stuff I will let everyone know! ~hugs~ for all my friends and supporters and followers! Much Love!
So thankfully Juliana got back to me and now I don't have to switch to the Fall! WOOT! YAY ME! ~claps~I know mom is still pissed at me, but to be honest... This is what I wanted. However, now I have my brother analazing me... ugh I hate it when my family gives me interventions... oddly enough they do it when I am eating! I can't enjoy my food! hahaha
But I am just glad i am going when I want to go. So yeah I need to start shopping! i just got $50 back from my rebate so I am using that for some of things! I will post up pictures once I get the things I need!

I am greatful that mom and i went to therapy yesterday. Our doctor said we were both right and that mom needs to listen to me too. He understood that I have known all the info and can do this with understanding. However, I still got in touch with my recruter just to make my mother happy. Juliana has been away for a few weeks so I should find out if I can switch to Fall. honestly as long as I get to go I'll be happy, but I would rather be in the FA.
So wish me luck with this endeavor... ugh.
It would have to be that my life with my Disney College Program isn't going so well. Well I am not there yet, but this is just a month before and all ready my family wants to kill me! you see, I don't have a regular supportive family. oh no, these people go into full blown investigations! They are worse than the Mob... ugh. My family is happy I am going, however my mother wants me to change when i am going, she doesn't want me to be in the heat. Now, that's understandable, but that's why i am going to the docs to have him fill out the paperwork! JEEZE! But oh no, she needs to talk to every person.
Now... if I was 16, that would be understandable... but i am almost 21 years old ppl! I think I know what I am doing and true, if I fall on my ass, I will say she is right, but until that happens... I am doing this, in the summer no matter what anyone says. I tried to get in touch my my recruiter to change it, just to shut her the hell up... but alas, Juliana wasn't at her phone and her email isn't working, so you see.... I have to go now.
The best thing is, my family likes to make bets about how long I will be out there before I come running home. Now the first job outside my parents shops was a little restaurant... I was fired cuz I was "too good"... oh yeah. See the ladies in the shop were threatened by me, I was getting bigger tips than they were and I moved faster. My brother in law won that bet. The second job was where I still work now... Target. You see, my brother in law and mother thought it would be a week.... so here I am almost year later! HAHAHA IN YOUR FACES! So, this is only a 7 month thing... you know I am gunna last.
But all in all, I just can't wait to go. This is so important to me. I am the first one from my school to ever do this... and I live in friggin FLORIDA! So I'll leave this ranting blog up for all to read. Wish me luck!
It's an odd thing... When i first moved down to Florida almost 5 years ago I told my mother I was going to go work for disney... now I get to live the dream.
On May 27th, 2009 I will be heading down to Orlando, FL to attend Walt Disney World's College Program for the Fall Advantage Program. For 7 months I will be living away from home and working and taking courses at WDW! Gasp!
So what happens now? I am still workin for Target ~one of the best places to work at... if they give you hours!~ I have to save up more money to go and make tones of lists of things I have to get, finish up my courses here and put in for my Financial Aid for next year. Find the classes I am gunna take online while I am Disney. Find out what I am going to do for my 21st Bday!
But let's take this slow...
The Disney College Program recruiters have been talking to me since my senior year in high school. Finally last fall I chose to apply for the Spring Advantage... and I got in! But the job I was offered wasn't really what I wanted. I was tired of the food industry and they wanted me to do Quick Food Service. Ugh why do you think I don't work on the grocery side of Target! So I turned it down and reapplied in the Spring for the Fall Advantage.
This time I applied EARLY! i told my recruter (Julianna... she ROCKS!) how I work at Target and a key player and how I do love working in retail. Honestly I wanted to be a character attendent... but they have to work outside...
3 weeks later I got my giant letter in the mail! I was sad that my friend didn't get in, but you can't win em all.
